Heartland's Enrollment for the 26/27 School Year is now officially OPEN!
Open Enrollment in Santa Barbara Area & North San Luis Obispo County has now CLOSED.
Open Enrollment in all other areas has been extended through Friday, March 20th.
It is open in the following counties/zip codes for TK -9th Grade ONLY:
North San Luis Obispo County - CLOSED ON 3/13/2026
Santa Barbara Area - CLOSED ON 3/6/2026

To start the enrollment process, please complete the 26/27 Intake Form.
This form will only be available as long as enrollment is open. Completing this intake form does not guarantee enrollment. To secure your spot, you will need to complete an application which will be sent to you at a later date via email.

What is your Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Policy?
Transitional Kindergarten is the first year of a two-year Kindergarten program. Students must have been born on or before 9/1/2021 to qualify for Transitional Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year.
What is your Kindergarten Policy?
Students entering Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year must have been born on or before 9/1/2020.
