Heartland Live

Heartland Live is an in-house program, created and grown by Heartland with our community in mind. Content Teachers use a combination of rich literature and pre-crafted lesson plans to deliver engaging content, while meeting the standards, and AG guidelines for high school courses. Content Teachers, HSTs, Learning Coaches, and Case Managers work as a team to support students who enjoy live instruction, and learning alongside other students. Heartland Live was created with the intent to build community within our virtual school, allowing students to have meaningful conversations through Zoom around academic content, as well as to work with other groups of Heartland students during class time. Students and teachers alike continually rave about the positive and encouraging culture within this program.

Classes are available for students in grades 5-12, meeting from 2-5 times per week, depending on the grade level and course.
